Need food help right away?

Call the Community Hub at 01332 346266, open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm.
You don't need a referral!

When you call, the Hub will ask you for some personal information to process your request. Below are some examples of the information we may ask:

•    Your name and address (If homeless we will use your previous address)
•    Postcode
•    Phone number
•    How many days of food you have left
•    Number of adults and children in your household
•    Any dietary restrictions
•    Payments received Wages/UC/PIP ETC 
•    Date you receive these payments. 
•    Housing status (Derby Homes, Housing Association, Owned, Privately Rented)  
•    Have you used us before

Here's what to expect:

•    We’ll connect you with a food bank in Derby depending on your location and circumstances.
•    You will get a call back the same day if you have no food.
•    You'll receive a 3-day food parcel, based on family size.

Important: Most food banks have limited hours, usually closing before 3pm. You can only receive one food parcel in a 7 day period.
