A Huge Thank You to The Lodge Pub, Alvaston
A big thank you to the team at The Lodge Pub in Alvaston for thinking of Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance during their recent refit!
The team got in touch to ask if we could make use of some plates they no longer needed, and Ann from our Furniture & Electrical Project was more than happy to pop down and collect them (with a little help from her car boot!).
These plates will be a fantastic help in supporting people in our community who are experiencing crisis, helping us provide essential household items to those who need a fresh start.
It’s wonderful when local businesses think of us and find ways to give items a second life, turning something they no longer need into something that can make a real difference to someone else.
