A New Chapter Begins…

This marks the end of an era for us at Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance.

We have officially said goodbye to our Central Storage Unit — the space where, for so long, we have run our food operations and supported our amazing network of partner food organisations across Derby.

That space has been at the heart of everything we do… and it holds so many memories of community, support, and people coming together when it matters most.

But as our organisation continues to grow, so does the need for what we provide.

And with that, we are excited to share… we have moved to a bigger space!

Welcome to the DF4TA Resource Centre — a new home that will allow us to do so much more.

We’ll be moving into the new space in stages over the coming months as we build and grow each part of our operation:

• Stage 1: We’ve already been busy setting up our food operations, so we can get back to supplying our food partners with weekly orders
• Stage 2: Moving in our Furniture & Electrical Project
• Stage 3: Creating a PAT testing facility
• Stage 4: Setting up a testing area for electrical items

It’s going to be a very busy few months ahead, but this move means we can reach more people, offer more support, and continue growing alongside our community.

To everyone who has supported us on this journey so far — thank you. This next chapter is because of you. Here’s to the future.
