Introducing Adopt a Shelf

As demand for food support continues to rise across Derby, we are asking local businesses, organisations, schools and community groups to join us in helping stock our new Resource Centre.

Over the past few months, Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance has moved into a larger premises to help us meet growing demand. Whilst the move has given us the space we need, we now need support to help fill the shelves with essential food and household items for the families and individuals who rely on our services.

Through our new Adopt a Shelf campaign, businesses can partner with us by adopting a shelf, supporting a food category, running a workplace collection, arranging an online supermarket delivery, or making a contribution towards essential supplies.

Whether you choose to support one item category or several, every contribution helps us provide vital support to local families.

We are also looking for our first Founding Shelf Partners to help us launch the campaign and establish the first shelves within our new Resource Centre.
