Introducing The Thoughtful Christmas Shop!

This Christmas, we want to make a difference to families across Derby — and we need YOUR help to make it happen! 

We’re delighted to introduce The Thoughtful Christmas Shop, a new project created to help families experiencing financial hardship make Christmas special for their children.

Christmas can be a difficult time for families facing the pressure of rising living costs. We believe every parent should have the opportunity to choose something special for their child, with dignity, choice and the joy of knowing it’s just right for them.

Our Thoughtful Christmas Shop will give eligible families the opportunity to choose Christmas gifts for their own children — but first, we need to fill our shelves! 

How can you help?

Donate a gift: We’re asking the people of Derby to donate new, unused gifts for children and young people aged 0–18.

Get your workplace involved: Could your business, school or organisation set up a Christmas gift collection? We can provide posters and specially designed gift tags to help you get started.

Choose DF4TA as your charity this Christmas: If your business or community group is looking for a local cause to support, we would love you to consider The Thoughtful Christmas Shop. Your donations can help us create a wonderful choice of gifts for local families.
