Volunteer with us: Volunteer Van Drivers Needed

Could you spare some time to get behind the wheel and help local households across Derby?

We’re looking for volunteer van drivers to join our Furniture + Electrical Project team.

Our project collects good-quality donated furniture and electrical items and gets them to local households who need them. Our van drivers play a really practical part in making that happen – helping with collections and deliveries across Derby.

This could be a great role for you if you enjoy being out and about, meeting people and working as part of a friendly team.

To drive our van, you’ll need to:

🚐 Be aged 25 or over
🪪 Hold a full driving licence
🤝 Be reliable and comfortable working as part of a team
📋 Be happy to complete our driver checks and a short induction

You’ll also need to be comfortable helping with the practical side of furniture collections and deliveries.
