A Huge Thank You to Alert Electrical

We want to give a very special shoutout to our amazing neighbours, Alert Electrical, for stepping in to support us when we hit another unexpected challenge.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Toyota, we were recently loaned an electric van to keep our Furniture & Electrical Project moving after our own van was stolen. But as a small charity, we quickly faced a new hurdle — how to keep it charged and on the road.

That’s when Alert Electrical came to the rescue.

They have kindly offered us the use of their charging station so we can power the van and continue delivering essential furniture and electrical items to families in crisis — and they’ve generously offered this completely free of charge.

This is exactly what community is about: Neighbours supporting neighbours when it’s needed most.

Because of this kindness, we can keep reaching households who are rebuilding their lives, making sure donated items get to the people who need them most.
