Derby Voluntary Sector Awards 2025

What an amazing evening at the Volunteers Celebration event hosted by Community Action Derby last night!

It was truly inspiring to come together and honour the incredible volunteers who make such a difference in our community.

A huge congratulations to our very own Chellaston and Shelton Lock Community Hub, who were named the winners of the Hardship Support Award!

Since taking on the challenge in January, the incredible Pink Ladies have run the Hub with passion and purpose — supporting over 1,000 people through the Warm Welcome sessions and Community Shop.

Your dedication, care, and commitment are nothing short of extraordinary.

Well done and so very well deserved!
