Christmas 2024

Happy New Year and a huge thank you to everyone who supported us in December! It was an incredibly busy month, and your generosity made a huge difference. In addition to supporting our foodbank partners during Christmas, we also provided food to community organizations offering cooked meals, like Warm Welcomes and others.

A special thanks to the local farmer who donated 2 cows, providing 400kg of stewing beef and mince, shared with Warm Welcomes and other community meals. Thanks also to McVities, local businesses, and Matthew Walker for their donations of biscuits, crackers, mince pies, Christmas puddings, and 30 turkeys from Fairfax Meadows for our Christmas meals. We were able to share good quality cooking pans, covering just delivery costs, with our partners.

We also appreciate the volunteers, including those from Rolls Royce, Alstom, Rams Talk, and Kingsway Community Fire Station, who gave their time during this busy period. Many others organized fundraisers, like Christmas quizzes and carol services, while Asda Sinfin hosted a “Give a Gift” campaign.

We are truly grateful for all the support and donations that made this holiday season possible. Thank you again to everyone involved!
